IMAG0822-1Proverbs 8:33 (KJV)

We learn a lot of things throughout our lives, many journeys we embark on with no idea of what is going to happen in the next minute and being wise we seek God…we pray, we listen, we learn and we apply what we’ve learned.

Sometimes His instructions are not what we want to hear, what we expect or we think we don’t need it…God is a constant unchanging God, His laws are unchangeable, His instructions are the best thing for us at any given time. Unfortunately, our nature has a lot of pride engraved in our hearts. To listen to God’s instructions is to be wise…to use the knowledge we are given on the daily basis. Letting go of pride is one of the first, so we can get our ego out-of-the-way and really be taught something good, that will serve us for the rest of our lives.

Reading the scriptures has been a blessing and also a call upon my accountability. The more I learn, the more is expected of me. Therefore, I am working hard at being wise and not refusing the treasures that come my way.
